Michele De Lucchi

Born in 1951 in Ferrara, he graduated in architecture in Florence. During the years of radical and experimental architecture, he was among the protagonists of movements such as Cavart, Alchimia and Memphis. He has developed lamps and furnishings for the most important Italian companies, including Artemide, Olivetti, Alias and Unifor. He has realised architectural projects in Italy and around the world, including residential, industrial, corporate and cultural buildings. He has curated exhibition installations for museums such as the Triennale di Milano, the Palazzo delle Esposizioni in Rome, the Neues Museum in Berlin and the Galleria d'Italia Piazza Scala in Milan. In Georgia he has developed architectural works for private and public clients, including the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Bridge of Peace in Tbilisi. Numerous projects for the city of Milan are currently under construction, including the pavilions for Expo 2015 (Padiglione Zero, Expo Center and Padiglione Intesa Sanpaolo), the Unicredit Pavilion in Piazza Gae Aulenti and the museographic installation of the Pietà Rondanini in the Ospedale Spagnolo of the Castello Sforzesco. For the Salone del Mobile 2015, he conceived and designed "La Passeggiata" for Workplace3.0, dedicated to the working environment.
