Koloman Moser

Koloman Moser (Vienna 1868 – Vienna 1918), painter, worked primarily in the field of decorative arts. He was one of the most significant artists within the Vienna Secession.
A collaborator of Joseph Maria Olbrich, Josef Hoffmann and Otto Wagner, he was also among the founders of the Wiener Werkstätte in 1903, creating designs for glassware, furniture, metal objects, fabrics, carpets, and more.
He drew illustrations for newspapers. After 1907, he devoted himself primarily to painting.
