The Post Mundus chair by Martino Gamper with its unmistakable profile, will be on display at the exhibition « Ceci n’est pas une copie » curated by Chris Melpon, which opens on November 25th and will remain open until February 26th, 2017, at the CID – Centre d’Innovationet de Design in Hornu in Belgium.
The exhibition aims to investigate the nature, meaning and acceptance of copying techniques in the contemporary world of design by presenting a selection of inspirations and visions that describe the phenomenon of copying: from domestic and recognised recycling strategies and re-interpretation and homage to the more controversial and experimental strategies of reproduction – highlighting a debate on innovation and imitation in design.
