The Post Mundus chair by Martino Gamper with its unmistakable profile, will be on display at the exhibition “Ceci n’est pas une copie” curated by Chris Melpon, which opens on November 25th and will remain open until February 26th, 2017, at the CID – Centre d’Innovationet de Design in Hornu in Belgium.
The exhibition aims to investigate the nature, meaning and acceptance of copying techniques in the contemporary world of design by presenting a selection of inspirations and visions that describe the phenomenon of copying: from domestic and recognised recycling strategies and re-interpretation and homage to the more controversial and experimental strategies of reproduction – highlighting a debate on innovation and imitation in design.
