The Brezel armchair by GTV is among the furnishings selected by the Calvi Ceschia Viganò studio, winner of the “Vietato l’Ingresso” project at the Arcimboldi Theatre.
The Brezel armchair by the creative duo LucidiPevere was chosen by the Calvi Ceschia Viganò studio to enrich the spaces of the “Diorama” dressing room, winner of the “Vietato L’Ingresso” project, which saw seventeen major design studios breathe new life into the dressing rooms of Milan’s Arcimboldi Theatre.
The winning studio has reinterpreted the concept of the dressing room, developing an enveloping and sophisticated environment that encloses “the world” within it. While the theatre is a communal ritual, the dressing room is an intimate and silent place, composed of domestic and inviting materials. The shape of the dressing room is as simple and perfect as only a circle can be, but it is reshaped by corners and coloured niches housing the mirror and make-up lights and secret cupboards for storing props.
