THE LOÏE LOUNGE CHAIR CHOICE FOR ELLE DECOR MONOCHROME STORIES: PROJECT FOR PREPARING THE WINDOWS OF THE RINASCENTE FLAGSHIP STORE IN ROME
This year too, Elle Decor Italia celebrated the most prestigious department store in Italy by signing an installation by Elisa Ossino Studio, in which colours are the stars in the seven windows of the Rinascente flagship store in Via del Tritone in Rome. In fact, after several Milanese editions, the international design magazine chose the new prestigious Rome headquarters, which opened last October, for the Monochrome Stories project.
From 21 June to 6 July, the windows of the Flagship Store in Rome will host 7 domestic scenarios featuring objects, furnishings and surfaces with a strong chromatic impact. Each showcase will show how domestic spaces can be made more exciting with the power of colour: starting with choices of colour inspired by the 70s and Op Art, from red to green to orange in order to relive them in contemporary versions, with a palette that plays with pinks and browns.
For the set-up, which has been designed to tell people about the latest interior trends in an unprecedented manner, Elle Decor Italia has selected some iconic design pieces, including the Loïe lounge chair, a 2018 novelty by Gebrüder Thonet Vienna GmbH, with cushions that are upholstered in a delicate fabric with a light pink nuance.
Signed by Chiara Andreatti, and combining ease and refinement, the Loïe stands out with its harmonious curves and the way it combines different materials, such as wood, Vienna straw and metal.
