LADDER – by young Swedish designer Charlie Styrbjörn Nilsson – won “Best in DIY” at the Wallpaper* Design Awards 2014. With LADDER, Charlie Styrbjörn Nilsson has used the technique of steam bent wood to create a ladder for interior use whose solid wood gives strength to a slender and light structure where the rungs, that have a rounded line on one side, follow one another in a mirror-like way, defining the direction of the ascent. Ladder is a versatile accessory, which can revamp a room with its unexpected presence, lending itself to many uses both in the living area and in the bedroom. It is a support point where various accessories can be hung or applied, a decorative element with a practical side. LADDER, produced by Gebrüder Thonet Vienna, is available in 3 dimensions, in natural ash and black or white open pore lacquered. [nggallery id=40 template=dop-thumbnail-scroller-gpc]
