A matter of texture…six captivating fabrics for six new Lehnstuhl: l’Opificio tailoring high quality enhances the characteristics of Nigel Coates lounge-chair, iconic product that combines great comfort and refined elegance. From the encounter of the timeless style by Gebrüder Thonet Vienna with the refined touch of l’Opificio – family company, today more and more international, whose strongholds are style and quality – are born six new special upholstered versions of the Lehnstuhl lounge-chair by Nigel Coates. Gebrüder Thonet Vienna has selected three different fabrics among the latest creation of the Turin brand, all in two contrasting colours to adapt to the Lehnstuhl structures, in black and white: Vocalese Treccia, fabric with a warm and delicate effect thanks to a knitted aspect which gives it a sophisticated feeling of softness, proposed in warm gray and blue for the black structure and white/black for the white structure; Esteta Foglia, characterized by an austere but delicate pattern, inspired to nature, that gracefully repeats itself on the fabric, combined with Esteta Intreccio, fabric with modernist and ipnotic graphic signs; and furthermore the vibrant Jungle Fizz, a cotton chenille characterized by a texture presence and charming shades wears with softness the most exclusive interiors, proposed in white/blue for the black structure and white/ecru for the white one. This is how, six new style icons are created, evoking imaginaries, times and contemporary atmospheres always preserving that strong identity, typical of Gebrüder Thonet Vienna proposals, destined not to fade over time. From a stylistic point of view, Lehnstuhl absorbs the characteristic elements of Gebrüder Thonet Vienna, amplifying them. A complex design which takes the form of a structure with variable section, where the curved wood models the wide armrests emphasizing the backrest and the comfortable caned seat, made in a special version with a loose weave. Its natural interlocutor, the Lehnstuhl-Hocker footrest, is an absolutely original element, whose structure in bent beech enriched with Vienna straw favours its amplified lines.
