The LOÏE armchair, an elegant piece of workmanship designed by Chiara Andreatti, has won the iF Design Award 2019, an important recognition in the world of design for over 60 years. A prestigious prize that Gebrüder Thonet Vienna GmbH (GTV) had already obtained in 2018 for the Chignon lounge chair by LucidiPevere and in 2016 for the iconic Hideout seat by Front, which received the iF Gold Award. It rewarded the values and capabilities of the brand, a star of the historical transition from craftsmanship to industry, in combining tradition and innovation thanks to continuous design research and a unique manufacturing heritage in the sector, dating back to the 1800s.
