Koloman Moser (Vienna 1868 – Vienna 1918), a painter, conducted his activity particularly in the field of decorative arts.
He was one of the most significant artists in the Vienna Secession. Working with Joseph Maria Olbrich, Josef Hoffmann and Otto Wagner, he was also one of the founders of the Wiener Werkstätte in 1903, designing models for stained glass windows, furniture, metal items, fabrics, carpets, etc.
He also did illustrations for newspapers. After 1907 he concentrated mainly on painting.
