Gebrüder Thonet Vienna GmbH (GTV) presents the new SUZENNE SOFA by Chiara Andreatti
Third appointment with the 2020 neovelties of Gebrüder Thonet Vienna GmbH.
Reconfirmed for the third year the collaboration with Chiara Andreatti that for GTV has already signed the lounge chairs Loïe and Suzenne and the Yvette headboard. One of the most promising designers on the international scene, Chiara shares with GTV a passion for detail and manual care and the ability to merge these values into mass production.
New for 2020 is the two-seater SUZENNE SOFA, a project with a contemporary spirit that incorporates the aesthetic characteristics of the lounge chair with the same name presented in 2019, SUZENNE SOFA reinterprets, with the soft stoke of the designer, the characteristic elements of the DNA of Gebrüder Thonet Vienna: bent wood and woven cane.
The seat is distinguished by the light structure in solid bent beech wood, encounter of straight and curved lines to support the woven cane backrest, defined by the wooden frame.
The seat and backrest cushions are enveloping and soft and in a plant symbolism they bloom like a corolla from the stem.
