GTV wins its second Archiproducts Design Award with the N.200 lounge chair by Michael Anastassiades.
Further recognition for the design quality and manufacturing culture of Gebrüder Thonet Vienna GmbH, ADA is the award promoted by Archiproducts, a portal for the world of design, architecture and building that had already presented an award to GTV with the Targa sofa in the 2018 edition.
A refined expression of the manufacturing quality and genetic code of GTV, N.200 is a timeless chair, deliberately dry in its minimalist elegance.
In profound stylistic harmony, the well-known designer has interpreted the archetypes of GTV, i.e. bent beech-wood and woven cane, with his poetic and at the same time severe touch. Characteristic elements are in fact the wooden structure, in which the curves form the armrests and feet in an apparently simple way while the woven cane seat and back help define the absolute lightness of the design.
